The 'spot' got more painful as the days went on and on the fourth day it got so bad that I didn't go to work, later that day I got a shooting pain and when i looked it had popped and there was blood and puss everywhere the pain straight away eased off and eventually the 'spot' faded and I didn't think anything else of it. I just thought id write a review (or little story) whatever you want to call it about pilonidal cysts as I know its a fairly common thing but people sometimes don't want to talk about it given the location of the cyst. Ill share my experience with you: When i was 18 (I'm 24 now) I woke up one day with what I thought was a spot on the top of my buttocks just inside the fold of the buttocks, I didn't think much of it and just went about my business.
