	Specsavers Opticians ... visit to the opticians I was long overdue - I had not even been wearing the last pair when I really should have - so thought I would pop in my local Specsavers to see what they had on offer. I was amazed at the wide range of glasses they had to offer and the promotions made their glasses really good value compared to their competitors like Vision Express, Optical Express and Dolland and Achison. I visited my local branch on a Sunday to browse around so it was not really busy. 	Dolland & Aitchison ... may sound very strange to some people but if there is one thing I am terrified of it is eyes! I have no idea where this strange phobia came from but I am unfortunately stuck with it and putting my eye make up on is a nightmare as I go all squeamish! I had been getting a few headaches and as I do work on my PC most of the day at work then go home and stare at a screen whether it is PC or TV my eyes were fast becoming tired and strained. 	Optical Express ... after having an eye test at D&A and being scared off by the prices, I booked myself into Optical Express which is where Andrew gets his contacts from. The price of the eyetest was half the price of D&A (£15) to start with and if you purchased glasses afterwards then it would automatically be free. The eye test didn t seem as hi-tech or extensive as D&A and nor did the equipment seem as up-to-date but the optician was friendly, made conversation and was just a genuinely nice guy and whats more important, the test results came back the same as they did at D&A; I need glasses and I have a stigmatism.
