My son was easy to deal with. I got a good pair of clippers and chopped off his locks. Brutal but effective. Now my daughter wasn t so keen on this treatment and to be fair, I took her point. I have read a number of the comments in the reviews here and I concur, most of the advice will work some of the time for some of the children, but there are one or two tips that have not been mentioned here, so, I ll go for it. As I may have mentioned, I have children and grandchildren, so I go back a generation to when my children were at school. I alway made sure that their hair was done in French plaits, and the ends were secured with a bright pretty ribbon. When I was young, we d have a nit-nurse at school, who every couple of months would check all the kids hair, and send home with a bottle of shampoo any kids who showed signs of having nits . Sadly, most schools no longer do this, leaving it up to the parents to check their child for lice .
