Health Products / Adults and children over 6 months: shampoo hair, rinse, towel dry. Apply creme to damp scalp and hair, leave for 10 minutes. Rinse, comb and dry. Not recommended below 6 months except under medical supervision.

... seem to be waging a losing battle against evil head lice, the mere mention of them seems to be enough to get people scratching their heads. It seems that as soon as I get my daughter clear of the things, she goes back to school and gets reinfested. I love the summer holidays as it means six weeks of not worrying about head lice. Lyclear is a permethrin based head lice treatment. It is an insecticide which works by killing the insects when it is either ingested through their mouth or skin. Well thats the theory, in practice many lice are now resistant to permthrin so it does nothing at all to them. Lyclear is easy to use, just apply to hair and wash off 10 minutes later...

... sorry, but it's definately lice'. I'd like to say I awoke from a very bad dream at this point, but alas no, tis a true story. I would have liked to have stayed anonymous for this opinion, but that doesn't happen with Ciao, so I'm coming out to you all; I've had head lice!! Where the little buggers came from I do not know, but I can tell you that after using Lyclear I have sent the evil creatures back to Hell where they belong!! I freely admit I was mortified, I remembered the taunts I had as a six year old when I had them at school, and my blood ran cold at the memory. ... product works by asphyxiating the lice which is all well and good as long as you do not have eggs in your hair.This worked on my daughter but it did not work on me as the next day all the icky eggs hatched!It admits that lice can still be moving around up to 24hours after treatment which quite frankly turned my stomach.It smells pleasant, is easy to use and is quick but I do not feel it is worth risking reinfestation the next day!You get a free comb with the prodct unlike other treatments which works in its favour.My opinion of this product is:do not waste your time or money!Get something that kills lice AND eggs such as full marks mousse! ...
