Aloe vera is found in a lot of todays hair and beauty products, i bet if you looked in your bathroom cabinet right now you would find at least one item containing aloe vera. Aloe vera is noted more commonly for its healing properties. The gel like substance inside the aloe vera plant can be extracted and used to treat a variety of skin problems. The aloe vera reduces redness and swelling around infection sites, stops burnt skin from drying out and helps it heal quicker, sooths the itching and redness from exma, can be used on any cuts and grazes where it decreases the healing time and the risk of scaring and its main use in our house is that it ... When I think of Aloe Vera, I think of Tenerife. It was there that I noticed products made of or with the Aloe plant for the first time. It's difficult not to, drugstores offer dozens of products, in the pedestrian precinct (of Puerto de la Cruz) they're sold from open stalls. Pictures of the plant gave me the idea that it might be a small relative of the Agave which I know from Mediterranean countries, yet I learnt that the approximately 300 species of the aloe plant belong to the onion/garlic family. (from the net) "It's a stemless or very short-stemmed succulent plant growing to 80-100cm tall, spreading by offsets and root sprouts. The leaves are ... Read the complete review

However, this lady explained to me that Aloe Vera is a natural anti-inflammatory, which works on the fine epithelial layer of skin, which covers all of our organs. As well as finding it in all those topical products, you can also drink it. She showed me a litre bottle of Aloe Vera juice, or 'gel' and as I was suffering pretty badly at the time with ... Having just had a baby, I am finding it difficult to be able to go out with friends and even to go out to work for long periods of time. I wanted to be able to go out and meet new people and work and not have to worry about little Carenza. You may ask me what this has to do with Aloe Vera, and now I will tell you. A few months ago, a friend of the family saw that my mother had very very bad rashes all over her arms. When she asked her about it, my mother replied that the Doctors had not been able to give her any medication that would shift it. This friend suggested that she tried some Aloe Propolis Cream by Forever Living Products, a new company that ... Read the complete review
