A few years ago we had never heard of Aloe Vera, but it seems to be in every other product these day.

Aloe Vera has a variety of uses; Drinking it's juice is believed to be a tonic and detoxifier as well as being able to aid digestive problems. Aloe Vera gel applied to hair can help clear dandruff as well as condition the hair. It can be used in cream or gel applied to ezcema, burns and sunburn and as a moisturiser it is great for increasing collagen in the skin and stimulating cell production.

Exceptionally rich in nutrients, aloe vera contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E along with the majority of the amino acids a body needs. This is why it has become so popular as a health and beauty product.

It is advised however that pregnant and breast feeding women refrain from using the product altogether because of it's levels of 'aloin'. Also, it can be a strong laxative if taken internally.
