When I saw another review on dooyoo for Andrews Liver Salts it reminded me that I had some in the cupboard, hidden in the cupboard too I might add, because I adore them! Fast and effective relief from an upset stomach is the claim and they are useful for indigestion, excess acid, upset stomach, constipation and the all important over-indulgence. Perfect for the approaching festivities! Andrews Liver Salts are "an effervescent powder containng sodium hydrogen carbonate (22.6%), citric acid (19.5%) and magnesium sulphate (17.4%). With Christmas fast approaching it means a few things, 1- we will all be spending too much money (some of it on people we do not even really like), 2- we will all get some very interesting presents (by interesting I mean rubbish) and 3 - we will all over indulge in the delights of stuffing our face with very unhealthy foods till we get to the vomiting stage. Picture the scene. It’s Christmas afternoon and you are slumped in your armchair waiting for the Queen to come on. It’s been a great Christmas Day so far. If you are one for over indulgence, then you might want to invest in some Andrews Liver Salts. The name might sound weird but they are basically just a really great pick me up for those who feel a bit icky. Think Rennie in a fizzy liquid form. They can relieve the symptoms of all the following ailments: upset stomach indigestion dyspepsia heartburn over indulgence constipation I have only ever used it when i have over-indulged and I feel sick and have heartburn.
