Advantages: no side effects

Disadvantages: may not work in every situation

I have had fairly severe arthritis for many years now, and have tried a great many remedies, raging from those prescribed by the doctor to simple painkillers and a variety of more natural remedies.

Of those natural remedies, perhaps the most effective, for me, has been arnica, which has become something I have repurchased a number of times because I do believe it offers some relief.

I originally started taking the arnica homeopathic tablets. For some time they did not seem to be especially effective. Then I went out shopping for a whole day, something which I now usually avoid because I know I will suffer for it for the days that follow. However, having, on my therapist's insistance, upped my dose for that day to what they call the 'acute' level, I found that the increased aching I would usually expect in my back and joints was not nearly as bad.

Now if I am going to do anything, from sitting somewhere draughty to going shopping that I know would usually make my arthritis play up I just take the maximum dose of arnica the day before, on the day of the activity and the day afterwards. It doesn't stop the pain completely, but I definitely notice a difference if I forget and dodn't take the pills.

I am not usually very keen on taking more pills than necessary, but because these have no side effects and don't contain any strong ingredients, I don't mind so much. The worst thing about it is that I can't have a cup of tea for at least 30 minutes before or afterwards!

A new arnica product which I am also using is a gel which was a gift from my daughter. This is made by SBC and, after trying it out in a variety of ways, I find this works best if I massage it into my hands when the arthritis gets bad there. Once again, it does not completely make the pain go away, but does seem to loosen everything up and makes me more able to do activities like typing.

None of these products is very expens
ive and there is no risk of any harmful effects or bad interactions with other medicines so I would very happily recommend them to anyone

Some other remedies that can help arthitis are :Calcium
pantothenate ,also the rest of the vitamin B complex,
Magnesium ,take a course ,but that competes with calcium
so dont take all the time .The same goes for Arnica its good to have a rest ,because homeopathy works better with
breaks in between .Also Organic Rice
You might like to read the book .Lets get well by Adelle Davis chapters 2 and 10 .hope you dont mind all this unsolicited advice :GOOD OPINION .
