Asda Opticians

Description: Asda Opticians offer full sight tests and contact lens assessments services.

Newest Review: ... With Specsavers the solution price was included in my monthly fee. So by switching to Asda my monthly contact lens bill had changed from £19 per month to £4.50 per month for contacts and an extra £1.50 for solution as and when I needed it. But for those of you that like to have your solution included to make sure you never run out the contact lenses I chose could be purchased with solution ... more

***Asda opticians*** I have recently switched over to use Asda as my main opticians because I had started to order my contact lenses from the website because in my opinion they are much cheaper than buying them from most the other opticians I have used. I previously shopped instore with Specsavers, I have not had any bad experiences with them apart from the fact my monthly contact lens fee started at £13 and gradually increased to £19 within the space of 1 year, however I had not changed the product so I thought the price increase was a bit too much. Asda online: I found the Asda opticians website very user friendly and easy to ...  Read the complete review

I was fortunate not to need glasses until later in life. It all started with my vision not being quite as sharp as it had always been, so thought I'd better book an eye test. I live near one of the biggest Asdas in Hampshire and it has a large opticians included in the store. My partner has been nagging me for ages to book an eye test, as i kept complaining of head aches and strained eyes when driving. I was shopping last week and noticed a sign that said "eye tests today £9.99". I thought about it for a second but then decided they would probably be busy and wouldn't be able to fit me in. So i went on with my shopping. However 15 minutes later one of the Asda staff announced again over the loud speaker that they had the eye tests available for £9.99 and there were still appointments available. So ...  Read the complete review

i booked an appointment at asda opticians and i could not believe the how quick i could be fitted in. on arrival for the appointment the tests were clearly explained as to what they were aiming to achieve. and was made to feel comfortable and at ease. when going in for my visual test to see or not see in my case the optician explained what i should be looking for in respect to if a letter should be clearer, sharper, or appear smaller. i have not had this explained before in previouse eye tests. after the tests were completed the optician told me in laymens terms what was wrong with my eyes and how they were to be corrected. the help in picking the glasses by one of the ...  Read the complete review
