Advantages: Sweets

Disadvantages: Not enough in the bag

By far the best sweets in the world am 21 and still love to curl up on the couch and eat a bag of these ( and steal them of my 3 year old daughter). In a bag there is roughly about 4 servings of these jelly sweets with flavours of orange, raspberry, lime, blackcurrant, lemon and strawberry and funnily enough the sweets colours are co-ordinated to there flavours. Each sweet contains around 20 calories 4.5g of sugar and no fat so dig in. Bassets made these sweets at the end of the first world war and originally called them peace babies. There are no artifical flavourings or colours compleatly natural and they are even made with real fruit juice so they are not as bad for your children really as a little treat. I really dont know what i would do without jelly babies well id probably buy wine gums but that not the point. the point is these sweets are super colourful and super tasty.

Summary: TASTY

I'm not a "sweety" person (no kidding!) but...any confection that - 20 years ago - managed to get John Peel reading alliterative nonsense (the one about Baby Brilliant talking to Baby Boring etc) can't be bad.
I always thought they should change the name though - it may remind people too much of a very different gelatin-based product.

I do like the red ones.
