Bausch & Lomb Renu MultiPlus Multi-Purpose Solution

I have been a soft contact lens wearer for the past fifteen years. I have used several cleaning solutions over that period. All except the one i am using now have allowed deposits to build up on the lens surface despite using protein tablet removers as well and were a complete pain to use. My worst experience was whilst i was using the two step solutions. I was late for work and went to put my lenses in in a hurry. I have been using Contact Lenses since the age of 12 and I recently purchased another batch of disposable contact lenses, as this is the type that I wear nowadays. The type purchased was the SofLens Comfort, which come in boxes of 6 lenses. The optical practitioner included a bottle of Renu MultiPlus solution with my order, free of charge. Since I have started using disposable lenses, which basically means that you wear them for about a month and then through them away and replace them with another pair, the need to use solutions has greatly diminished. You would think that all saline solutions are generally the same, but no such luck! First off, whoever invented the “MultiPurpose” contact lens solution should be given a prize or something! I for one am crap at cleaning my contact lenses. I have started using 2 week or 1 month lenses because of that. This solution is perfect for those types of lenses, as you never really have to clean them. The solution claims to remove protein build up, clean, rinse, disinfect, lubricate and store your lenses.
