I was first alerted to Ginseng many many years ago. Ginseng is a Chinese herb and one of the the most used in traditional medicine. The claims for the benefits of ginseng are many and include reducing the effects of stress, improving performance, boosting energy levels, enhancing memory and stimulating the immune system. It is widely used in Oriental medicine and claims have been made that it can cure pulmonary complaints, dissolve tumors and reduce the aging process.
