Advantages: Cheap does the trick
Disadvantages: Can get messy, absorbed quickly.
Lubricating Jelly doesn't sound too great does it but it is fantastic!!
I have never really thought about the concept of Lubricating Jelly or its uses but am glad I accidently discovered it, this is based on use with two consenting adults and some people may find it a taboo subject so here is the first and final warning.
As I was not too well, I had been put on a course of antibiotics, this of course meant that my pill would not be perfoming too well, so I had to revert back to good old contraception favourites....condoms. Now I am not a fan of these ruber friends partly because they totally turn me off and I dry up like the dessert (sorry if that is a bit too graphic there!)
I mentioned this to my long lost friend who had come home for a visit from Uni and she suggested using some lubrication or buying some condoms with added lubrication to help with the problem.
So on my regular trip to boots I had a good old look around the contraception area and scanned my eyes across the various lubricants and other forms of contraception, and spotted Boots Lubricating Jelly.
I picked up the packet and had a look, as I knew I would have to convince my fella that using this would be beneficial for both of us as he felt that it was only for use with anal sex so as you can see I was onto a bit of a challenge, the tube stated that it was Water Soluble, this means simply that they are easy to wash off and the price 50g for 99p sounded right up my street so I invested in two tubes still cheaper than getting the bigger 100ml size and trotted off to the check-out.
I got home and looked at my man with a cheeky grin and told him I had got something good to use later on, he looked intrigued but pretty much trusted me on this idea.
I opened the tube ready for use as I firstly had to break the seal to ensure that it could be used and I naturally had a smell to see if it had a scent that would be distracting and to be honest this is pretty much scent free.
Now I am not going to go into detail as to what we did with it but it definately solved the problem and now we have gone on to discover even more fun things that can be done with lube and I have changed my fellas opinion and now he thinks the stuff is fantastic, but still won't go and buy it himself!
Directions for use:-
Wash hands.
Squeeze a small pea sized amount on to your finger and either insert into the vagina, or spread onto the penis or tampon.
You will see that it mentions tampons for guys reading this you may want to stop about....now.
As a female it can get difficult during the time of the month to insert tampons, addd a small amount of this onto the tampon and bob's your uncle, smooth insertation .
I recommend trying this even if you don't need to it makes sex fantastic and is one of the top tips in most sex manuals for mind blowing sex and I can guarantee you will have the smoothest of rides to come. If you plan on using this remember that it will get absorbed quickly so depending on your use it may disappear rapidly but get yourself an advantage card at boots and you will never pay cash for it!!
I have since used Durex Play lubricant and have to say I cannot rate it as highly as this as I found it had a scent and was pretty off putting and at £3.49 a tube it is a bit too highly priced.
Summary: Give you both a helping hand!

- 29/04/06 Guess what? A nomination from me! I think that this was a superb subject to write a review on - a brave one, but you pulled it off with aplomb! Just enough detail without being too graphic, yes, very good indeed. Richard. |

- 28/04/06 I just love your title! x x |

- 28/04/06 The other issue about it being water soluable is that it won't disolve the rubber in condoms - you should never use Vaseline (petroleum jelly) as that will. And that would be bad :) Cheers. |
