I recently purchased a double pregnancy test kit from boots, and thankfully only needed to use one of the tests. When scrolling through the shelve with all the pregnancy tests at boots, most of the products seemed fairly similar in terms of accuracy, how early they could detect a pregnancy and the method which is used to take the tests. However there was a big difference between costs and extra features on test. Instead of merely detecting a pregnancy and displaying a positive sign or line, some tests have the ability to read 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' as well as provide an estimate as to how many weeks pregnant someone is. These extra bells and whistles added to the price tag, and seemed like unnecessary extras. Boots test offer the basic information needed, and are significantly cheaper than most brand products.

The double pack of tests contained 2 pregnancy tests which were individually foil wrapped. There was a leaflet in the box which contained comprehensive instructions on how to use the test and also on how to interpret the results and check the test has worked effectively.

My personal experience in taking the test was positive, in that I got a result within about 30 seconds. The result was easy to interpret and there was no doubt in my mind that the result was actually positive. I would not hesitate in using a boots pregnancy test in the future, and would recommend them to friends and family.

Summary: A great product for a budget price.
