Advantages: Easy to swallow, seem to work quickly, reasonable price, made me feel refreshed.
Disadvantages: None.
On occasion I am prone to sleeplessness and sometimes this will come to a head over several days and leave me feeling tired, restless and irritated. In the past I have resorted to using prescribed sleeping pills but when I was out recently and did not want to visit the Doctors I thought I would try something different. I spotted these tablets in Boots and they were available in 25mg and 50mg table form. I thought that I would go with the 50mg as I wanted something that was going to be very effective.
These tablets come in a cardboard box and there is a blister pack holding the tablets in place. This is standard packaging really. There is also a leaflet within the box showing all the usual information about side effects and what not it also contains some tips on how to deal with sleeplessness.
These tablets are suitable for adults only which is listed as being anyone over 16. Anyone with allergies to any of the ingredients should avoid these as should pregnant women, those with asthma and those with stomach ulcers. The dosage requirements for the 50mg tablets are simple, one per night. I take mine with water for easy swallowing.
The price of these tablets is currently £4.59 for a packet of 20 which seemed very reasonable to me. Cheaper than a prescription charge anyway!
As I stated above I started using these when I was needing a new prescription for my sleeping tablets. My tablets are usually a last resort after concurrent nights of not being able to sleep properly. These tablets are very simple to swallow and I usually take one once I have tried to go to sleep and suffered for two or more nights in a row. This tablet is very simple to swallow but it does have a slight after taste to it. This can have a slightly powdery taste to it but I swallow mine quick and never break them in half.
Each time within around 45 minutes of taking the tablet I was able to comfortably drift off to sleep. I did find that these tablets helped me to ease off to sleep with a lot less difficulty. I would say that I probably got to sleep a good hour or two earlier than I would have without them and this is more than enough for me. Sometimes the worry of not being able to sleep makes things worse to be honest.
I was very pleased with these tablets. They were simple to swallow and most importantly I felt like they helped me get off to sleep quicker. When I wake up in the morning I feel refreshed. Not sure whether this is because the tablets or because I slept for longer than normal but either way these tablets made me feel refreshed and sleep better than normal so I would firmly recommend them.
Summary: Fantastic tablets that aid my sleep.
