If, like me, you suffer from a short attention span and are often left stumped by a non-existant memory then I recommend you take two handfulls of raisins a day. Raisins, yes raisins, the reason?, they contain boron, a mineral which has been shown to increase memory and attention in men who ate about 3mg of the stuff daily (I'm not sure on its effect with women). I didn't believe it much at first either, but as my A-levels were approaching I started to eat some raisins just in case and sure enough I found I was able to work for longer without my mind wandering off.
