Advantages: 99% accurate, test up to 4 days before period due, tells when you conceived, easy to use.

Disadvantages: Small writing on instructions leaflet, 3 minutes waiting time seems long.

My periods are usually regular but for some reason this time round it was a week late, now not sure if it was medication messing up the cycle or the possibility of being pregnant. I thought it was time to rule out pregnancy so I purchased Clearblue digital pregnancy test from ebay. Yes you heard right I purchased it for just under £7 from ebay, you can tell how urgent I was to test for pregnancy. The way I see it was my chances of pregnancy was quite a long shot with the use of protection and the fact back ache and odd cramp was indictating period was due. The no blood thing for over a week was kind of giving me doubts, not to mention stressing me out.

Not to worry, I recieved the test in the post the next day properly sealed in plastic, a blue box telling me it is the brand most recommended by doctors, can test up to 4 days before period is due, tells you when you conceived, most accurate reading in early pregnancy, over 99% accurate. By this time I was bricking it waiting for everyone to get out the house before I get this test done.

Opened the box to a stick with digital screen that was sealed in it packaging which I could only get into with a pair of sissors adding to my frustration. What is with the tiny writing for the instructions? Thank god there is a summary and pictures for how to do the test. So here goes, I wee in a container and then dipped my the filter bit of the stick in and the symbol was flashing at the corner of the screen to let me know it was working. I left it lying flat and waited about 3 minutes for the result. It can feel like a long time but finally I got a result, it said not pregnant. To me it was both a sigh of relief and a slight disappointment. Relief because it put my mind at rest and could expect a period anytime now. Disappointment cause I go for a baby craving moment every month and if I actually got pregnant I would be delighted.

Results only show up for 24 hours before they disappear. If your pregnant then you get to find out when you conceived. Quite a impressive pregnancy test overall.
