This is probably the best known pregnancy test, due to the regular TV advertising the manufacturers have done. However, it is also the most expensive by a very, very long way! A single test costs just under £9, or you can get a double pack for £11.99 from Boots. This is hideously expensive when you consider that for less than £5 you can get 2 Asda tests and they do exactly the same job! You can buy these tests from loads of places - I have seen them in Boots, Asda, Tesco, Superdrug and Sainsburys to name just a few. The price tends to be similar wherever you look. They may be a trusted brand, but when you scour the internet it is littered with ... Read the complete review

The things we have to go through..... After last months period came and went again in the matter of hours, I've had this sinking feeling that I might be pregnant for about a week now. I know lots of you girls will identify with this 'pregnancy scare' but I don't think men have any idea how utterly terrifying it is to be late when you don't want to be. Now don't get me wrong, I've got 2 kids and love them to bits but I don't want a third. Ever. Why am I in this situation? Basically because I'm on the pill and twice last month I was late taking it cos we stopped at a friends house and I had an upset tummy last week, which can affect the ... Read the complete review

Let me start by telling you I've never been pregnant. Now you are wondering what qualifies me to write this op? Well I've been trying to get pregnant for the last 9 months, so in that time I've used the odd pregnancy test. Oh OK, I'll be honest, I've used a LOT of tests, five minutes late and I'm testing. Now the test I choose is the ClearBlue. ~~~~ The Kit ~~~~ When you buy a test you get a wrapped up testing "stick" and some instructions. You can buy twin packs which work out cheaper than single ones. Believe me you will want to test twice if you are positive (so I'm told). If the test is negative you have one ... When I first suspected I was pregnant I went to my local boots store to purchase a test & was surprised by how many different version you can buy. As I was unsure about which test to go for I decided to get the one I had herd of the most which was clearblue. It says on the box that it's 99% accurate so that swayed me as well. The test is a white stick with a cap on one end & the window which tells you if you are pregnant or not. You can either buy this item on its own or as a box with 2 tests wrapped separately (you also get instructions inside). Quite a few tests tell you to do them first thing in the morning but this one you can do at any time of ... Read the complete review

A friend came to me the other day and said she might be pregnant so I asked her if she had gone to the doctors and she said that as she and her husband had been trying for a baby for a while now and wanted to be sure before going back to the doctor, so I advised her to do a home pregnancy test and said that I used the Clear Blue test and found that to be a good efficient one. So off we drove to the shops and picked up a double pack for £11.55 which was more economical than the single pack which was £8.99 and this way she could always do a second test just to be sure. Before I go into the nitty gritty part of the review I will tell you how a home ... Read the complete review
