I was rummaging around my reviews earlier and realised that whilst bearing down fast on the 1000 opinion mark there were a few categories into which I hadn't contributed anything at all. Hi to all those people who love tea and coffee(like me).Those of you who smoke and those of you who like a drop of red wine, all the things that are great for staining teeth but you can't live with out them!! About six months ago I decided to give up smoking and thought I would never need clinomyn tooth paste again so I threw it away and used normal toothpaste. I failed to give up smoking and carried on using the normal one, and then my teeth started to discolour again with stains reappearing on my front teeth. I have had rather badly stained teeth since childhood. Although they are healthy, they are rather porous and so pick up coffee and food stains very easily. Since adolescence, I have been through the mill of whitening toothpastes. This one wins for me in the range of "Smokers" or whitening toothpastes. I've found many others to be over-priced, chalky tasting or just plain ineffective but this falls into none of those categories. Clinomyn is still a little more expensive than your average toothpaste (about £2.00) but worth it. It has a fresh minty flavour without being overpowering or blowing your head off like some others. No chalky feeling in the mouth or residue after brushing either.
