I've always taken multi vitamins and extra vitamin C in the winter, but didn't bother with any of the minerals untill I started suffering from dry skin on my hands. I tried creams but soon realised that my diet must be lacking in something for my skin to be dry in the first place. I read numerous articles on vitamins, and cod liver oil claimed to add the moisture back into dry skin and be especially good for mature skins. Well, I tried it and saw an improvement within 2 weeks, I then started taking vitamin E and my skin is now glowing with health!!!! But, it was the cod liver oil that initially did the trick....it's brill stuff. I'd advise anyone with dry skin or a poor complection to try taking vitamins and minerals.....they really do work.
