Last year I started suffering with bleeding gums really badly. The dentist just said to get an electric toothbrush, and recommended the basic Braun-B, which I got and used religously. Five months further on though I was still suffering from really bad bleeding gums.
Doing research for myself I found vitamin C and flossing recommended. I already take vitamin C to the recommended limit, and started flossing very religiously, but still no effect.
Then I saw an article that Coenzyme Q10 was very good for bleeding gums. It apparantly helps with the healing of the cell. Anyway I tried it and it worked! It is expensive (9.99 for 50 of the 30mg), but it seems the type of thing that you would only need to take for a short time. It is quite a few months since I stopped taking it and my gums are still fine. the article recommended 50mg I suppose, but I just took the 30mg and that worked fine.
