Advantages: Fresh breath for longer and strong healthy teeth and gums.

Disadvantages: A little bit pricy some might feel.

My dental hygiene routine has always been something I have maintained religiously using the most up to date toothpastes and mouthwashes available so when I heard about Colgate Plax Whitening Mouthwash and the good things being said about it, trying it was a must.

Colgate claim that it helps keep teeth looking whiter for longer, keeps your teeth and gums strong and healthy, your breath fresher and your mouth healthier. Proven to fight plaque and bacteria for 12 hours, contains fluoride to fight cavities and strengthen teeth and after finishing my first bottle I would have to say that I agree with what they have to say.

Let's be honest after a good brush and mouthwash with any product your mouth feels very fresh but how long does it stay feeling that way? I find with this mouthwash that my mouth truly does stay fresh for a good few hours more than it did with any other product I have used previously. It has a strong but not unpleasantly strong minty flavour and leaves your mouth with a real minty feel good tingle of freshness after use.

Being a fairly new product it is as you would expect slightly more expensive than other mouthwashes in its range but I feel its well worth the money. I paid £3.09 for my 500ml bottle which lasted me just over a month.... £3.09 for a month of fresh breath and healthy teeth, not a lot is it?

I am always very self conscious about my breath when I am close up and personal with someone, I have never been accused of having bad breath its just a quirk of mine that if I am chatting with someone at close quarters I get paranoid about my breaths freshness. I can honestly say that that paranoia has eased with the use of this mouthwash because I can tell my breath still has its minty freshness even hours after use.
