Great for minimising gum infections (Corsodyl)

I bought the Corsodyl mint mouthwash at Boots for 3.59 for a 300ml bottle. It's good value as it's so powerful and you wouldn't use it every day, only when you are having gum problems (gingivitis, oral thrush, mouth ulcers) or need to promote healing after dental surgery. I'd heard good things about it from friends and had a recurring infection in my wisdom teeth that I was dying to get rid of.

I've tried other antibacterial mouthwashes but this is by far the best. It has a pleasant mint taste that isn't too overpowering. Your mouth feels clean and fresh for hours afterwards. You are supposed to use 10ml per wash, which gives you 30 uses and if you use it twice daily as suggested, you will get 15 days use out of it. Though this isn't a daily use mouthwash, that must be stressed!

The only downside to this product is that it stains your teeth after continued use, though this can be brushed away with a good whitening toothpaste. Hence I wouldn't use this more than you need to.

I use this whenever I feel a gum or wisdom tooth infection coming on and it gets rid of it very quickly, usually within a couple of days. As a result I've avoided a lot of painful infections and trips to the dentist.

Summary: I always keep this in my bathroom cupboard in case of any gum problems
