Corsodyl all round good dental mouthwash (Corsodyl)

I first came across Corsodyl many years ago in a different life. I was a residential care worker looking after a little old lady in her own home. She had a vast array of medicaments the likes of which was only matched by her vast array of ailments. I never did find out what it had been prescribed for, but it had been prescribed by the dentist.

From then on, I had always thought of Corsodyl as a mouthwash that could only be got on prescription and for serious mouth and gum problems. I was very surprised to find that they stocked it in my local stores, and that far from being the price of a prescription item (about £5 at that time) it cost just over £2.

Whenever I had any problems with my mouth or gums, I would get some. I use it for toothache while I am waiting for the dental appointment to materialise. I use it if I get a mouth ulcer, I use it when I am recovering from said dental teatment, to make sure that infection doesn't set in.

All round good product.
