Having suffered from severe excema for several years, I'd had every cream under the sun. Then my GP prescribed doublebase. I thought that it'd just be the same as all the other moisturisers I've had, and sadly, I was right. I was told to apply it 5/6 times a day, and as the pump can be tempremental, it took longer than with my usual moisturisers. Once I'd applied it, my skin was shiney and smelled a little. I have to say, i thought it was gradually doing it's job, until half an hour or so after applyimg, i had to start all over again and re-apply it. Also, a while after applied, my skin would go weird and itch and regardless of how much I itched or put more cream on it just wouldn't work. So in my eyes, its ok for on the go, to use on your hands ect but to use it as your main moisturiser, well, I wouldn't reccomend it.
