Dr Bach Rescue Remedy
Advantages: Life saver
Disadvantages: none really - perhaps the taste slightly
I first came across this a few years ago when I was suffering badly from worry and nervousness. since then i have used on many occassions.
What is it?
Bach Rescue Remedy is a natural product for rescuing from the horribleness of worry or nervousness that takes over aperson. this particular one is a dropper bottle.
What is in it?
Bach Rescue Remedy is made with flower extracts of Rock rose, impatients, clematis, star of bethlehem and cherry plum in a grape alcohol solution.
This particular type the dropper comes in a small 10ml bottle with a dropper in the lid. It's packaging is quite distinctive in yellow. It's a perfect size for fitting into handbags or pockets so can be used discretely without others needing to know or notice.
What does it do & how to use
It works by dropping a few drops onto your tongue or under the tongue, this is the quickest way to the blood stream and starts working almost straight away. The ingredients used have great benefits of calming and helping to relax you. The bottle comes with a dropper so you squeeze the dropper in the lid. A few drops can also be used in water, this is especially useful if you have a child who is anxious and you want them to relax without knowing what you are doing.
I have to say it does have a distinct taste, I guess it's slightly like dandylion and burdock! It's a sort of sweet plant taste but it's not unbearable and it doesn't last long - it's worth it!
I used to suffer terribly with nerves especially when speaking in front of people or having to do a presentation, the trouble was my whole self would shake which then made it worse because I could see that and it would make me more nervous and so went the vicious circle. It knocked my confidence. I still always wanted to have a go at things and was determind not to let it get the better of me, then after being asked to read a poem at a funeral and feeling that I wanted to a friend suggested this bach rescue remedy - I'd try anything at that point. I was still nervous as it doesn't take it all away completely but I have to say I was much better and I found that the shaking wasn't half so bad. So the next time I got nervous I tried it again and gradually I have felt more and more confident and have used it less and less, although those who feel anxious and nervous know it doesn't go away forever, whenever I'm feeling a bit anxious about anything I've always got a bottle in my handbag just in case and because it's discrete it's great, no one notices if a few drops are just dropped onto my tongue.
A great product and a great buy and best of all its natural. It costs approx £3 (june 2012)
Summary: A great product
