Earex Ear Drops
Advantages: I think the advanced earex is slightly better, but this seems to work well
From time to time I have trouble with blocked ears, it just creeps up on me and I have to get something to remove the excess wax in my ears. This only happens once every couple of years so it isn't exactly what you might call a problem until of course it occurs. The build up of wax doesn't really cause much pain but it seriously affects my hearing ability, and since my job does involve a certain amount of interaction with customers, it's nice to be able to hear what they are complaining about this time.
I had the old plastic bottle from the last time but the use by date was well expired so I coughed up the £4.29 for this nice little bottle to replace it. I daresay that once my current condition has been remedied this lot will expire before I need to use it again.
The eardrops are best used as per included instructions, but basically a few drops in each affected ear until the condition is cured or one week which ever is shorter is the desired usage. I have found over the years than a few days usually suffices and the ears return to normal hearing, which incidentally is quite a strange feeling when you have been used to hearing muffled sounds for a while. To ensure that the drops get the best possible chance of working to full effect I usually plug my ears with some cottn wool over night after I have applied a few drops. Sometimes during cold spells I warm in it hot water to ease the insertion, since if it is too cold it can cuase a little pain as in runs into the ear.
It has a very usual smell which is hard to describe except for the strange fact it reminds me of something edible, which is not something I'd expect from an ear medication, however its effectiveness is in no doubt. After perhaps six applications and three days my ears kind of popped back to normal, with no sign of the offending wax, which can be somewhat unsightly when it comes out in a blob. I had expected my hearing to slowly return to normal, and perhaps it sort of did, but the final link to clear hearing did see quite abrupt.
Firstly if you are continually having any medical problems consult your GP or you pharmacist for proper advice on your condition. If however like me you know the answer follow the instructions carefully, especially with ears and eyes. I have found this invaluable over the years and the pricetag is irrelevant when you consider the benefits. So that'll be me again for a couple of years...................yes dear I here you coffee coming up. Sometimes you wish you had just left the bottle on the shelf and continue deafly in your own little silent world, yes dear I said yes.
Summary: Definately helps with the problem of waxy ears
