This is the first and only test I have ever had to use. It cost me about £5 for one test from Superdrug.

It can be used from day 1 of your missed period and can be used at any time of the day, though first thing in the morning is best as I would have thought it will be more accurate.

I used it the same day of my missed period and it gave me an accurate result - positive, and the test was done early evening.

It is slightly trick to use as you have to pee into a tiny pot (very messy trying to hit it!!) you then out a little foam ring around the predictor strip and float it into the pot. It says to wait a couple of minutes but for a more accurate test wait for 5.

One blue line on the predictor strip means your not pregnant and 2 means you are.

I think it was eventually 10 minutes later when I dared to look at it, and sure enough, as clear as day there were 2 lines. I consulted my doctor, who still wanted to do another test just to make sure, and those results came back positive too.

It worked for me - but all tests are not 100% accurate so do make sure you consult your doctor as well.
