Description: Manufacturer: Boots / Lens Type: Solutions & Cleaners Newest Review: ... water content lenses, now I use monthly replaceable ones instead and still use the Easiclens pack. It is more fiddly to use ... more  ... than some other solutions because you have to first clean your lenses with a few drops of cleaner, before rinsing them and storing them in the storage solution. There are plenty of solutions which omit that first step, and I honestly don't know whether that means Easiclens is any more effective. I'd recommend it, but bear in mind that you can only buy it from Boots!

Easiclens is the 'own brand' contact lens cleaning solution from Boots. It costs about £10 for 20 days' supply which includes 1 bottle of cleaner, 1 contact lens holder, and 30 phials of disinfecting/storage solution. It's easy to use, and I like the way you get a free holder with each pack. I confess I have a heavy brand loyalty here as it's always been fine, so I haven't had experience with loads of different solutions. However, there is one thing I will point out about it: when I had an eye infection, it didn't seem to clear it from the lenses. You have to use something stronger, like the old fashioned peroxide ...
