When I recently started to get a summer cold it was recommended that I try Echinaforce Drops manufactured by Bioforce. As someone who is pretty much a sceptic when it comes to herbal remedies I thought I would give it a try.

Echinaforce drop’s contain the tinctures of the Echinacea purpurea herb and root and is a traditional herbal remedy for the symptomatic relief of colds, influenza type infections and similar upper respiratory tract infections and helps maintain the body’s resistance by supporting the immune system.

To take this herbal remedy all you do is add 15 drops to a small amount of water and drink 2 –3 times a day for adults, for children they have 7 drops 2- 3 times a day followed by a sweet as the taste is pretty awful, but in spite of the taste, if you can stick at it, it does actually work and within a couple of days the symptoms had gone.

This product is widely available from health shops and larger chemists and is certainly worth a try.
