I bought the twin pack First response all came up negative I bought a new pack 3days later and tested that day and the next day both negative...I tested again two days later STILL negative. Hours later I was doubled over in pain and went to the hospital I had a swollen tube(infection) and guess what? I WAS PREGNANT!!! Dont trust it at all! My HCG was well over 100 and it still said ... My history of trying to add to the wonderful but incomplete twosome (twosome being my husband and myself) has caused me to buy enough pregnancy tests to fill a small room. At least it feels that way and it's probably not so far from the truth. After all I've now spent the last 5 years of my life trying to have children and so far I've succeeded twice. Twice being a total of 1½ years actually pregnant and with a further 6 months after the birth of my second not trying that still leaves a grand total of 3 whole years trying for babies (so far!). But having tried other tests, I do believe this is the best one on the market. **Why are these special?*** The unique selling point of First Response tests are that they claim to give results up to 6 days early. The key words here are 'up to' and it really isn't advisable to test until your period is due as it can cause extra disappointment and upset, not to mention unnecessary expense on your pocket! ***Second opinion*** I had got some poundland cheapies (you get two in a pack) in for ... When my husband and I decided to try for a baby last year we spent a lot of time thinking about our finances and planning when to get pregnant so with all that planning when the time came to find out if it had all been worth it we needed a reliable home pregnancy test (HPT). As we were actively trying to conceive the first month I was prepared and purchased some HPT strips, not very clear but would give us a negative or positive result. After doing the deed and waiting for the dreaded two weeks to see if we had been successful my period was late but the testing strips were not showing positive results after being 4 days late I was going mad I was having ... First Response Pregnancy Test. The First Response Pregnancy Test really does what it claims on the front and will give you a result within minutes a lot quicker than other pregnancy tests that are on the market. This is ideal for so many people as it is the waiting that is often the most difficult aspect in the first initial stage of pregnancy. The one downside of the First Response Pregnancy Test kit has got to be the price. At a little over £10 for two tests it really is very expensive. What you are paying for however it the amount of plastic and packaging as well as the smaller amount of HCG hormone to activate the test when compared to ... Read the complete review
