Advantages: Clear, fast accurate result.

Disadvantages: Pricey but not as pricey as other competitors

When my husband and I decided to try for a baby last year we spent a lot of time thinking about our finances and planning when to get pregnant so with all that planning when the time came to find out if it had all been worth it we needed a reliable home pregnancy test (HPT).

As we were actively trying to conceive the first month I was prepared and purchased some HPT strips, not very clear but would give us a negative or positive result.
After doing the deed and waiting for the dreaded two weeks to see if we had been successful my period was late but the testing strips were not showing positive results after being 4 days late I was going mad I was having period pain cramps but no sign of a period so I made hubby dash out to purchase me a test that would give us a clear yes or no answer and this was what he returned with.

Priced at £6.97 in Asda for 2 tests I couldn't wait for the following morning to test, I just had to do it there and then.

The test is a bright pink box with white text and can predict your pregnancy very early. This however I do not feel is a set guarantee as some people have been pregnant and not gotten a positive reading from a test until around 14 weeks.

*~*Using the Test*~*

The test comes in a sealed box with protective wrapping, insire the box are two tests which are individually sealed.

A set of instructions are also included in the box.

The test states that it is accurate enough to do at anytime of the day, some times tests work better first thing in the morning as that is when the pregnancy hormone is at its strongest.

To use the test you must remove the lid from the end of the test where there is an absorbent tip which is what should be directed into the flow of your urine or if you prefer you can pee into a jar and dip it in for 10 seconds then replace the lid and leave for approximately 3 minutes.
I have to say as this was our first attempt at conceiving and both being totally nervous this was the longest 3 minutes of our life, we read the instructions over and over again and then returned to the bathroom to check the results of the test and it was positive!

Having taken 5 testing strips before and them all coming out negative I had set the result to also show negative so imaging my suprise when there it was a big fat positive!

This has to be one of the easiest tests to do but if you can bear the tension then I do recommend that you read the instructions at least twice or have your other half read them out to you if you prefer.

Thankfully I have not had to try any other tests as we all know how expensive they can be but if you get two lines then you are pregnant, only one line and it's a negative it really is as simple as that and if like me you were waiting to see if you are pregnant this test is ideal as it can detect the pregnancy hormone earlier than some other home pregnancy testing kits.

Summary: A reasonably priced test compared to others in the marketplace.
