I bought this test as it was the cheapest I could find in Semi-Chem- I didn't have very much money on me at the time and really needed to find out if I was pregnant or not.
I took this test home and sat and read the instructions twice to make sure I understood exactly what to do.
My first criticism was that there is not container to urinate in to so you have to find your own container. Secondly the strips are so small, fiddly and look cheap- this made me a bit sceptical about how accurate they are.
Well my scepticism was justified as the test told me that I was not pregnant. This was very upsetting for me as I had been trying to have a baby for a few months- so after my disappointment I stored the remaining test in my bathroom cabinet.
A week later I still had all the symptoms of being pregnant so I tried the other test- which again was negative- but this time I knew that it was likely I was pregnant so I went to my doctor who was able to confirm this was in fact the case.
These tests don't work or at least they don't work as early in pregnancy as they say they do. They are however a cheap test and you get what you pay for. I would suggest either buying another brand or going to your doctor if you think you are pregnant.
