Advantages: its safe and natural so its safe in pregnancy, you can get it on prescrition which is great if you get them for free

Disadvantages: It tastes awful

Well I guess we all go through stages in our life when for one reason or another we get 'bunged up'.

Having had the misfortune to suffer from the dreaded constipation while pregnant and with the threat of heamaroids on the horizon I consulted my gp for advice. Fobogel was, in his opinion the best and safest option open to me. So armed with my prescription and the thought of relief from my bloated bowels I headed straight to the chemists for my fix.

Well the box told me I was about to make up an easy, pleasant to have drink, that would bring me gentle relief from my one all consuming problem.

Pleasant? well I guess if you like to swallow something with the texture of weak wallpaper paste with all the taste of very cheap orange squash you might call it pleasant. I preferred to call it gloop. It was foul. To be honest I think the thought of having to drink the darned stuff again had more effect on my bowels than the fibogel itself!!!
