I swear by the stuff! I have been taking glucosamine since June 2000 and I can honestly say it beats even the best painkillers. Here is my story! When I was in my early teens I suffered from agonising knee pains and my parents fobbed me off with 'growing pains' saying that it would get better when I stopped growing. I suffer from sore knee and elbows just lately; it has got to the point where I hobble along the corridor when I get up in the morning. My knees are the worst and it is absolute agony walking down stairs. Old age? It frightened me to death when someone said that to me the other week, but they were half joking, well I think they were.
