Complete First aid kit in one bottle. I first took an interest in aromatherapy in the late 1970s long before it became fashionable. I had two little ones and I did not want to pump them full of chemicals I wanted all things natural for them. Of course lavendar oil is a chemical, but it is beneficial. Holland and Barretts pure lavendar oil is paricularly good qualiy and at just under £7 for a large 20ml bottle it is very good value. As you only use it in small quantities (a few drops at a time) it lasts for ages.

What can you use it for? The list is endless so I will only mention a few.
When your children are fractious at bedtime, put a drop or two in their bath water just before you tuck them in. They will get a good night and so will you! You can even put a drop on their Pyjamas to help them sleep. It is one of the few essential oils you can use on children.

Lavendar oil is very good for the skin put a few drops in a plain face cream will work better than some expensive rejuvenating face creams. The healing properties of Lavendar oil were first re - discovered in 1910 by Gattefossé when he used it to heal a burnon his own hand. This lead to the modern development of aromatherapy. If you have aging skin, broken skin or burned scalded skin, lavendar oil is healing.

It is also a natural antiseptic, if you can only get one bottle of essential oil, get this one!
