I have been taking HRI water balance tablets for a week now as I had a swollen belly that just wouldnt budge, Id tried everything from diet pills to exercising twice a day. My mum has been taking HRI water balance tablets and I could really see the difference in the swelling. Ive had no side effects from taking the tablets but I have noticed that my breasts have expanded 3 cup sizes in the week that Ive been taking them(not that me or my partner are complaining!!). I have no idea if this is related to the tablets or if its just my body changing. Has anyone else experienced any weird side effects like this?? Other than that they have worked brilliantly and I ... Ive been using HRI water balance tablets for a couple of years now. Initially I bought them in boots on a 3 for 2 offer and today in Boots was the same offer. £3.16 for 50 tablets on 3 for 2. HRI Water Balance is a traditional herbal remedy to help relieve water retention and maintain a normal body fluid balance. I dont claim that these have made me lose weight. In fact I don't really use them to try and aid weight loss I use them because in the days leading to that time of the month I become so bloated that I can go up a dress size. I do find that these tablets do aid this. I take about 4 a day for 3 to 4 days so the 150 tablets on 3 for 2 last ... Read the complete review

I'm not at all fat but I recently developed a swollen stomach which resembles a 'beer bellie'. No amount of exercise and careful control of what I was eating seemed to make any difference. The crunch came when I couldn't do any of my jeans up! A friend suggested that the problem might be water retention so I bought myself some 'HRI Water Retention Tablets' from Tesco (£3.45). After just three days I can do my jeans up and my 'pot bellie' seems to have gone.(Well more or less gone.) These little grey coloured tablets are recommended for all water retention problems and before and during menstruation. (You can also use ... Read the complete review

I used HRI Water Balance pills while dieting. During the first week I was amazed to find that I had lost ten pounds. These pills are based on powdered dandelion which is a diuretic and helps rid the body of excess fluid. (Remember the old saying that dandelions make you wet the bed!) Apparently too much water can add a lot of weight when you step onto the scales. The main sign of this problem is a swollen tummy that is soft and springy. Press you tummy and if it feels soft but springs back when you press it in, then it is probably water that is causing the problem. You take these pills twice daily after food. They help get rid of the water and ... Read the complete review

As a sufferer of Irritable Bowel Syndrome I often experienced bloating and fluid retention. I guess I was also unlucky as my lower abdomen would swell like a balloon for a week before my period started due to fluid retention. I decided to give this product a go after reading the other two reviews on this site. I have now used these tablets for two months and I can sincerely tell you that I have had absolutely no swelling or apparent fluid retention since starting them! In fact I had forgotten my period was due the last two times. I am absolutely amazed. The only thing I need to do now is to make a note of when I'm due on! I paid £2.39 for 50 tablets at ...
