HRI Water Balance
Advantages: Cheap, easy to swallow, work well.
Over the past year or two I have lost a few stone and managed to keep it off. I have been pleased with my success and it is fair to say that I feel much better for the weight that I have lost. I am always looking for a way to lose a little bit more weight without too much hassle. At the end of last year and the start of this year I followed the SlimFast diet plan for a few weeks. I was very pleased with my results but then towards the end of January I felt like I was bloating out on my feet and legs again and my weight went down and then back up a couple of times which left me feeling disappointed due to the amount of exercise that I had been doing and the healthy food that I had been consuming. This is what prompted me to pick up these water balance tablets and I paid just over £2.50 from Sainsburys, however these were on a 3 for the price of 2 offer at the time that could be mixed and matched with numerous other items so I was very pleased with the price.
Water retention can lead to bloating and water weight can add quite a few pounds on when you hop on the scales. This can be quite disheartening, particularly if you have been trying very hard like I had when I first purchased these. I did not expect a miracle cure and to instantly be as thin as I would like to be but I definitely had good hopes for these tablets after a friend suggested them to me.
These tablets are widely available and I picked mine up in Sainsburys. There is a cardboard box and within the box is the glass bottle containing the tablets. There are 50 tablets making these around 5p each which is very reasonable for what they do. The bottle has a seal for safety (I'm assuming) and when this is removed there is a weird & slightly unpleasant smell from the bottle. I am assuming that this is because they have been sealed up for quite a long time.
These tablets are very simple to swallow. They are small, hard and they slide down the back of my throat easily. I swallow mine with either a glass of water or a glass of orange squash as I find that there isn't any disgusting after taste to these so I just use whatever cold drink I am already drinking at the time.
Two tablets should be taken twice a day after meals and this means that a packet of 50 tablets will last almost two weeks and I think that makes them very reasonable value for money! These should be avoided when hungry, when pregnant or when breast feeding also.
I have been taking these for around a week at a time and I find that by the end of the week I am looking noticeably less bloated and I feel it too. I do not take four of these every single day of the one week either and sometimes just take two at one meal time (dinner). I did notice that I needed to pee more while using these but I drink well over the recommended 2 litres of water per day anyway so this is not really a problem for me.
I definitely notice an improvement in the puffiness and swelling within just a few hours of using these and this does keep it at bay for the full week I take them and then a good few weeks afterwards. My water retention is definitely better than it has been for a number of years now and I am very pleased with the result of using these tablets. I would firmly recommend them to anyone suffering from water retention but always contact a doctor first as there could be an underlying cause.
Summary: Water retention tablets that work very well.
