Unfortunately, for the fourth time this year I have been struck with the dreaded cough and cold bug, which has resulted in me being confined to my bed for the past few days. As Christmas is only two days away it is essential that I rid myself of my symptoms as soon as I possibly can. Whilst I do not believe that there is any remedy that will totally alleviate our symptoms, in conjunction with my prescribed antibiotics I have been taking Reckitt Benckiser's Lemsip Max All in One, which is a cold and flu capsule and this review discusses my experience of using the product. WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS PRODUCT? I first discovered Lemsip Max All in One a ... Read the complete review

~Lemsip capsules~ *************** I have bought and used Lemsip branded cold and flu products over the course of many years and found them to be mostly reliable and easy to use. The Lemsip capsules that you can buy instead of the powders (that require mixing with hot water) are a product that I have found useful for those times when I have been suffering with a cold or flu type illness and have been away from home, with no access to freshly boiled water with which to mix up one of the powder sachets. The capsules are a good alternative product in my opinion as they are very portable and easily carried in a handbag or jacket pocket when out and ... Read the complete review

I've had a wicked cold for the last 3 days, I NEVER get colds usually but this year have had loads of them that have all been murder to get rid of!!! This time round I've been using Lemsip Max Strength Capsules, the only reason is because they was in the medicine cabinet and the first couple of capsules I took worked so good and so quick that I sent my dad out to get me another box when I was running out! You take 2 capsules every 4 hours, they're suitable for everyone from age 12 but they have got paracetamol in them so make sure you don't take more than you should. On the box it says not to take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours and actually I reckon that ... Read the complete review

I need to put my disclaimer right at the start of this review I currently am suffering from a cold. In fact at this very moment in time I think it may be worse than a cold ...it could even be flu, so I need to apologise now if I sound like I am whining and generally just feeling sorry for myself (which I actually am ). At some point in time we all get a cold so I hope you can read this and show some sympathy. Some suffer from a more vicious "unique" strain of cold viruses like Mr Lools for example, others less so and can struggle on and work through the pain barrier of a runny nose and sore throat, without feeling the need to take any form of flu ... Ever had that horrible scratchy throat sensation and sniffy, drippy nose and felt that you would surely not last the day? Most of us have! I’ve tried lots of different remedies ranging from Beechams Powders, to Vick (even those revolting things that you shove up your nose and sniff….and, I don’t mean glue sticks! LOL) I’ve tried Contac cold tablets, paracetamol, aspirin, neurophen and just about every combination in between but the only thing that seems to work for me is Lemsip Max Daytime Capsules. The idea is that these capsules will take care of your cold symptoms and allow you to get on with your day as normal. ... Read the complete review
