I need to put my disclaimer right at the start of this review I currently am suffering from a cold. In fact at this very moment in time I think it may be worse than a cold ...it could even be flu, so I need to apologise now if I sound like I am whining and generally just feeling sorry for myself (which I actually am ). Lemsips is a relatively well known brand in UK. The lemsip powder is normally diluted in hot water and is supposed to be used to cure headaches and colds in general. The capsules should work in the same way, with the only difference that they can be swallowed everywhere and do not require hot water. I am based in UK,but I travel to Europe and Africa on business and some time I end up in South Africa and the difference in climate does not seem to do me too well, to the point that I have colds both in winter and summer. Lemsip extra strength capsules are what I am writing about as they are just the thing when you are just getting that tickly throat and clogged feeling in the nose. I think they really do work and should be given a try. I buy them and use them when the start of the itches and sniffles come to me and find if taken soon enough you can avoid the full blown cold. But if not caught in time they do help take off the muggy feeling and make it possible to keep working at least. Not too expensive the Lemsip day and night maximum strength capsules come at around £3.65 sometimes a bit cheaper depending where you buy them.
