I won this online after entering a competition to win some health products. All I had to do was to write a product review!

I was surprised at the weight of the soother, he is quite heavy. However, he is good quality and very strong and sturdy, it's very unlikely that he will break and/ or split. It says on the reverse of the pack that you can use him straight out of the fridge. I use the soother this way when I am suffering from a headache (or a migraine). The soother is cool but not freezing so it's not uncomfortable to use and you can hold the soother there for a while before feeling the need to remove it. I also suffer from joint pain in my left wrist so again, I will use the soother chilled and hold it over my wrist for a few minutes to numb the pain. The soother DOES work. It's easy to use too as once it has lost it's cool you just pop it straight back into the fridge!

You can't microwave these, that is a NO. However, you can place them in hot water and use the soother warm. Don't place the soother in boiling water, just hand hot water and don't leave it in there for too long either. I use the soother warm and use it as a hand warmer. It comes in handy for those cooler nights when you need something to warm up cold hands.

I know these are aimed at children but we can all use them - so this is a USEFUL product review!

These are around £4.50 to £5.00 in the shops, I have seen them in Superdrug for just under five pounds.

Summary: Soothe bumps, bruises, sprains and headaches with Mr. Happy!
