... probiotic drinks on TV but they were no good for me because I am lactose intolerant, so I was thrilled to discover that multibionta offered vitamins with added probiotics. To be honest I wasn't expecting to notice any improvement, but these little tablets have improved my stomach ten times over, and what's more, I also know that I am getting 100% of my daily allowance for a bunch of vitamins and minerals, which surely must be a good thing. Compared with alot of other vitamin brands I find Multibionta to be good value for...more

Premium Review Multibionta Complete Multivitamin with minerals & probiotic nutrients: Multibionta with probiotics - the friendliest bacteria I hav ... (439 words)

It's rare for someone to become particularly enthusiastic about a vitamin tablet, but I think these are absolutely fantastic - they contain probiotics! (which are 'friendly bacteria' that are claimed to improve digestion etc). Generally I tend to have a really pretty good healthy diet, mainly because I am allergic to nearly everything that isn't a fruit or a vegetable and 'freefrom' goodies are often so stupidly expensive that I don't tend to bother with junkfood! So I haven't ever worried about a lack of vitamins. However, ever since I contracted some foreign stomach infection in South America my stomach has been a huge problem for me. There's a lot of debate about whether or not people need to take vitamin and mineral supplements, and the latest evidence seems to be coming down against. My opinion is, that's fine if you're eating a healthy, balanced diet. But how many of us really do that? Hands up anyone who's not dieting who reaches for fruit in preference to chocolate, salad in preference to chips, and never buys ready meals or fast food. Exactly. Therefore, I say that a multivitamin and mineral once a day can at worst, not harm, and at best, genuinely help. I don't know if taking a tablet a day does ward off colds or viral infections, I don't know if ...  Read the complete review

Multibionta probiotic multivitamin are quite different to other vitamins as they contain probiotics. Although they are expensive with 28 tablets costing 3.50 in Tesco, I think they are worth spending the extra money. Firstly what are probiotics? Well Probiotics are essentailly good bacteria. Apparantly they create fewer opportunities for bad bacteria to grow and so could prevent infections and ilnesses. They are the same as the yoghurt drinks that you can buy only they don't need to be stored in the fridge when in this tablet form. It's difficult to know whether probiotics do actually acheive these aims but I do seem to get less tummy upsets when i take these ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The only A-Z Multivitamin with Probiotics? (333 words)

Well, that’s what they claim on their web-site……. Hang on, a multivitamin with a web-site, what IS the world coming to!? It was suggested by my doctor that I should take this multivitamin because I wasn’t eating very well as I suffer with stomach thrush (no, it’s not very nice). He suggested this particular one because as I couldn’t eat anything ‘interesting’ I wasn’t taking any vitamins or minerals into my body, also because it has ‘probiotic nutrients, and it should help my immune system to cope while I was feeling a little run down (it also helps break down the nasty stuff in the bowel). ...  Read the complete review
