Advantages: A good all round multivitamin with probiotics

Disadvantages: Quite expensive

Multibionta probiotic multivitamin are quite different to other vitamins as they contain probiotics. Although they are expensive with 28 tablets costing 3.50 in Tesco, I think they are worth spending the extra money.

Firstly what are probiotics? Well Probiotics are essentailly good bacteria. Apparantly they create fewer opportunities for bad bacteria to grow and so could prevent infections and ilnesses. They are the same as the yoghurt drinks that you can buy only they don't need to be stored in the fridge when in this tablet form. It's difficult to know whether probiotics do actually acheive these aims but I do seem to get less tummy upsets when i take these vitamins. Doctors also recommend that you take probiotics after a course of antibiotics.

As well as probiotics these tablets contain the following: vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin C, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folic acid, vitamin B12, Biotin, Calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, iodine, manganese and chromium.

I have had no side effects whilst taking these tablets and have found them to be beneficial in that I seem to stay healthier.

Summary: Probably worth the extra money
