Advantages: Great for ensuring intake of essential vitamins and great for those who cant drink probiotic drinks

Disadvantages: There are probably better ones out there but these are well priced.

It's rare for someone to become particularly enthusiastic about a vitamin tablet, but I think these are absolutely fantastic - they contain probiotics! (which are 'friendly bacteria' that are claimed to improve digestion etc).

Generally I tend to have a really pretty good healthy diet, mainly because I am allergic to nearly everything that isn't a fruit or a vegetable and 'freefrom' goodies are often so stupidly expensive that I don't tend to bother with junkfood! So I haven't ever worried about a lack of vitamins. However, ever since I contracted some foreign stomach infection in South America my stomach has been a huge problem for me. We all see these wonderful probiotic drinks on TV but they were no good for me because I am lactose intolerant, so I was thrilled to discover that multibionta offered vitamins with added probiotics. To be honest I wasn't expecting to notice any improvement, but these little tablets have improved my stomach ten times over, and what's more, I also know that I am getting 100% of my daily allowance for a bunch of vitamins and minerals, which surely must be a good thing.

Compared with alot of other vitamin brands I find Multibionta to be good value for money - to be honest you can't put a price on your health but these by no means break the bank, especially since they include so many essential vitamins, minerals and probiotics, so you probably wont need any other vitamin supplements with it. Currently 60 tablets in Boots are sold at £6.01 at the time of writing this article, so really it only works out at around £3 a month, £3 well spent in my opinion.

I can't swear that these tablets have been the cause of the huge improvement in my stomach, but after around a week or two of taking them I noticed that I was feeling alot better. Further more, my lactose intolerance has decreased and I have been able to treat myself to chocolate cake on occasion, and not worry when eating out in case something in my meal contains milk, something that before Multibionta would have sent me running away to throw up.

Overall a good all-round vitamin supplement at a reasonable price. But don't forget they are JUST a supplement and nothing beats a healthy diet. However, I highly recommend probiotics in general if you have any kind of non-serious stomach discomfort etc, it's worth a try! For me Multibionta are a great way to get my probiotics whilst ensuring I get all my vitamins and minerals that I might have missed in my daily diet.
