Advantages: it makes sure you have all the nutrients to survive!, probiotics (or live bacteria to you and me)

Disadvantages: quite expensive

Well, that’s what they claim on their web-site……. Hang on, a multivitamin with a web-site, what IS the world coming to!?

It was suggested by my doctor that I should take this multivitamin because I wasn’t eating very well as I suffer with stomach thrush (no, it’s not very nice). He suggested this particular one because as I couldn’t eat anything ‘interesting’ I wasn’t taking any vitamins or minerals into my body, also because it has ‘probiotic nutrients, and it should help my immune system to cope while I was feeling a little run down (it also helps break down the nasty stuff in the bowel).

I usually take a multivitamin every so often anyway. Because the boyfriend is vegetarian – I don’t bother cooking two separate meals (that’s IF I cook at all!), so all the extra help in these tablets is definitely needed.

It sounds good as ‘nutritional experts’ or Seven Seas have developed it. Each tablet contains 100% of the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) of all recommended vitamins; they also contain minerals and micro-nutrients and 10 million shelf stable probiotics (or live bacteria to you and me).

Probiotics have also been added with certain milks, cheeses, yoghurts and some buttermilk products (there’s that little yoghurt drink you can buy now) but all these need to be kept in a fridge. ‘Multibionta has been specially formulated to release its Probiotic nutrients where they are most beneficial’. How they know this is beyond me, but it seems to do the job.

You can get the lowdown on what the 27 ingredients are from the packaging, so I won’t bore you here, but from Folic Acid to Iron, Vitamin A to Zinc if you have a ‘hectic lifestyle’, or if you’re on a diet, or a really unhealthy diet like me, it’s worth checking this multivitamin with minerals and probiotic nutrients. It could save
your stomach.

I would have liked to know whether the probiotic multivitamins actually helped you to get better or not you never said whether you thought they were better than the multivitamins you were taking.
