I've been trying to quit smoking for a little while now but without much success unfortunately. I've got a bit of a wheeze these days and with prices going up across the board I'm amazed anyone can afford to smoke these days.


So off to my doctors I've been and got me one of these Nicorette inhalers. In my little pack I've got an inhaler thing, like a little plastic cigarette that comes open in two, plus a packet of six catridges full of nicotine for inserting in the inhaler. I've also got a little holder thingy to store them all in.


I read the little instruction booklet that came with it first of all and that told me clearly and easily how to get the inhaler up and running. Basically you just insert a nicotine cartridge and off you go. Easily done.


Then you can inhale on the inhaler any time you feel like having a cigarette and the nicotine hit is enough to stop you craving an actual cigarette. It's not the same of course but I have to say I've found it pretty close and I haven't had a real cigarette in four days now which is amazing for me!


I like that I have something to do with my hands as well as it keeps me busy and allows me to keep my habit for a little bit longer while I'm adjusting to the new non-smoking Dave. I really recommend smokers who want to quit giving this a go.
