As a mum ith three small children i have battled with the problem of nits or head lice for years. Now i have found the answere the nitty gritty nit comb the comb is marvelous and what the product does is brilliant as well as taking the louse out of the childs hair it also takes the dead eggs that are left behind. Once i was too embarressed to put the girls hair up but now they have beautiful clean nit free hair. The comb is metal with long teeth with a swirly groove and it is this grove that removes the eggs from the childrens hair and i have not had to spend lots of money on expensive products there is no need any more. If i have noticed a louse in my daughters hair i now take her up to the bathroom wash and puts loads of conditioner in her hair and use the comb, i have an old toothbrush ready to clean the teeth of the comb and it takes about half an hour to brush through her hair until the comb is clean of lice and eggs especially eggs as one left behind means she still has them.
