I first had to wear glass about 9 yrs ago, but havent had my eyes tested for about 7 until about 3 weeks ago. My eyesight has been gettin worse and I thought I had to get them checked.

I chose Optical Express because my Mum had been there a few months before and said they were really great so I went up to my local one and booked an appointment.

The optician was very thorough and the test took about 20 mins all told. He was very professional and well mannered and once the test had been done it was on to choosing which frames I wanted. They have an excellent selection and after about 15 mins of trying various ones and getting advise from the Assistant in the shop, i chose a pair.

I also got to chose a pair of prescription sunglasses free which was a bonus. With those you get a choice of tints inclusing a rayban tint (which i chose - Blues Brother Style of course!)

My glasses were ready within a couple of days and when I went to collect them I was given lots of great advice on care and what to do for the first week of wearing them.

My vision is much better now, especially night time driving and I shall be going for check ups much more regularly from now on!
