heynonnynonny Asda Opticians: ... Think of having a bad hair cut and not being able to do anything about it, I could not settle with my specs and do not want to return to the place after how I felt last time I was in there. I discovered Asda Opticians through www.moneysavingexpert.com upon seeing a thread entitled 2 pairs of designer glasses for £90 including thinnest lenses for free or something along those lines and of course this noted my intere...

Gaven Specsavers Opticians
... ve been a customer of Specsavers for about 7 years, so i ve got a decent idea of what they are like. Generally on the highstreet, they can be recognised by their overlapping green ovals logo. Inside the shop is pretty much what you d expect from an opticians. The walls are covered in glasses and mirrors for people to pick and choose at their leisure. There is usually a separate waiting area for lens and sight checks too. I know they can also provide hearing tests, but this isn t a service i ve ever used. Right, i first started using them when i realised i needed a sight check. I went in, booked an appointment, and within a week i was sitting in the opticians chair ha...

Diamonds08 Specsavers Opticians
... first became a customer at Specsavers when I realised about six years ago that I was having trouble seeing the board in college. At the time my mother was paying for my glasses and contact lenses and therefore it was her decision which opticians I should go to. To be honest Specsavers was just the closest to our house and most convenient at the time which I assume is why we went there. Since leaving home I obviously now pay for it all myself, and simply for convenience I have stayed loyal to Specsavers. *The Stores* There are hundreds of stores across the UK and I personally have never had a problem locating a store in whichever town I happen to be living in at the...

kiaraclegg Vision Express
... Express is one of the four major UK opticians; it controls a large percentage of the British market for glasses and contact lenses. The company s selling point is the availability of glasses in 1 hour at many stores. What to expect I phone to make an appointment. On arrival I go to the eye test desk (in my store it s at the back of the shop). Sometimes I ve been offered a coffee while I ve been waiting. Prior to seeing the optician you might be taken for the "blast of air in the eye" test, by a member of staff who is happy to explain all. After this the optician will collect you notes and invite you in for a test. You get out of your eye test what you p...
