I first saw the Orgasmatron at a market in Camden, and I thought "no way is this metal spider thing going to feel good on my head". Then I went to a friend's house, and he had one, so I tried it out for fun, and I was thoroughly surprised!

Sometimes the orgasmatron can make me shiver. It's something about the way the cold metal arms massage the scalp, increasing blood flow, helping you loosen up. To me the sensation is strictly limited to the head region. I think it must be all the tension from my stressful lifestyle that is massaged out as blood flow increases throughout my head.

There are many variations of the orgasmatron available. Some use batteries and will vibrate at the push of a button. I got my plain metal, no electronics version for around £8 through an online store. It has 8 "arms" and a handle, and it can be shut together and put into a small pouch for easy transportation.

My personal experience of the Orgasmatron was that I had to get one for myelf because I was curious. I was planning to use it every day, to relieve my self of stress and increase the blood flow in my head. But, like so many things in life, my Orgasmatron sits on my shelf most of the time. I use it maybe once a month if that much, and I hardly ever get those shivers any more. I guess people have different experiences with it. For me it was fun the first few weeks, then the effect wore off. It's still a lot of fun having guests over, though. "Orgasmatron?? What's this?"
