Piriton liquid is something that I always like to have in at home just in case my son suffers some kind of allergic reaction as I have found that it deals with things well. The piriton liquid is something that I have used from time to time ever since my son was a toddler and this is my review of it. Piriton syrup has the technical name of chlorphenamine maleate and is a syrup which is used for dealing with various allergies. The bottle that I have comes in a thin cardboard box which is various shades of yellow. The box has the piriton name as well as a half flower shape which shows various things that the product can help deal with in each petal. The box ... Read the complete review

~Piriton Syrup~ ************ Piriton syrup is a product that I have purchased a good number of times over the years as something to help ease allergy issues such as hayfever, insect stings and bites and allergic rashes. I have found that as long as the directions for use are followed correctly, the product has been safe to use and I have found that there have been no issues with reactions to the ingredients in the product. The product bottle that holds the syrup has a child safety lid attached to it, that should mean it would be difficult for a young child to open. For as long as I can remember I have been plagued with the most horrendous hay fever year after year, it affects me so badly that as soon as there's even the slightest hint of pollen my eyes start to itch terribly, they will start to sting and run becoming red and swollen slits in my face that also fast becomes blotchy and starts to resemble a tin of corned beef. Then my nose will start and in a matter of minutes I can become a snotty wheezy mess with the feeling that I'm drowning in a sea of mucous (not the nicest mental image you'll have today I'm sure but hey ho). As well as my hayfever I'm also unfortunate enough to suffer from dust allergies and for some reason the . Read the complete review

My daughter has recently been told by her doctor that she seems to be suffering with hayfever which is of no surprise as I suffer with it too. Being only 20 months old she is unable to pinpoint her exact symptoms but her little eyes go red and her nose starts streaming and of course she is quite visibly suffering and of course as a parent I want to make her as comfortable as possible as it is never nice to see your child in any discomfort. Our doctor recommended that we try Piriton Syrup which has been specifically designed for children over 12 months of age so within a matter of a few hours we had been to Boots and purchased a bottle. I think most of us have ... Read the complete review

My daughter is very susceptible to insect bites and she gets quite a nasty reaction to them with swelling and the annoying itching that comes with them, I also suffer a bit but not quite on the same scale as she does, maybe it is bacuase I have built up some sort of resistence that she has not had time to do given her young age. This product is suitable for children over the age of one and has been a lifeline on our holiday travels when the risk of getting bitten or stung was increased. It is an effective treatment against reactions to stings and bites as well as for the more traditional treatment of hayfever and allergies. The benefit of being in syrup form ...
